To assist you in deciding which urban hike is right for you, our walks are divided into different walk categories:
1. Tourism
Located in parts of a city that a tourist would normally frequent. The routes will take you through places of iconic or cultural value, or that offer leisure and amusement facilities.
2. Nature
These walks are chosen for their inherent natural beauty. Routes will take you through parks, gardens, woodlands, rivers or coastal areas of a city.
3. Restaurants, cafes and pubs
Best suited for couples or groups who want to explore the local restaurant, cafe or pub scene. Routes will take you through restaurant and cafe strips, or even help you to plan a pub crawl.
4. History and Architecture
Are you in interested in exploring local history and architecture? The hikes wind through areas of the city of particular historical significance, or locations with noteworthy examples of modern and/or traditional architecture.
5. Popular Culture
Ever wanted to visit a place referenced in a book, movie, TV series, song, or media event? Walks in this category explore different pop culture themes and events relevant to a particular place and point in time.
6. Drifter
Designed to take people out of their comfort zone and explore parts of a city they may be unfamiliar with.
7. Distance
